1. What cookies and local storage are

Cookies are small text files stored by the browser when you visit a website. Local storage is a similar browser mechanism used to remember interface preferences. Technical identifiers allow a service to maintain a secure session, prevent attacks and remember a choice requested by the user.

2. Yerocle’s current choice

Yerocle does not currently install non-essential analytics, marketing, advertising or profiling cookies. For this reason, no consent banner is shown: technical cookies may be used without consent, while this policy remains available from every area of the service.

If non-technical services are introduced in the future, they will remain disabled until the required information and consent controls have been implemented.

3. Technologies in use

TechnologyPurposeDuration
yerocle-languageRemembers the IT/EN choice. First-party technical preference cookie.12 months
Auth.js / NextAuth session and security cookiesAuthenticate the user, maintain the secure session, protect sign-in and validate requests. Technical names can vary depending on the secure environment.Session / up to 8 hours; short-lived security cookies may expire earlier
Local storage for guides and hintsRemembers whether an in-product tour or contextual hint has already been viewed. It is not used to track activity across sites.Until cleared in the browser or reset by the feature

4. Third parties and tracking

The public site does not load advertising networks or third-party analytics trackers. Transactional email, hosting and integrations described in the Privacy Policy are service providers, but their presence does not automatically mean they place cookies in the Yerocle browser session. Opening an external provider’s website is governed by that provider’s own cookie policy.

5. How to manage technical data

You can delete cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Blocking all cookies may prevent sign-in, language persistence and other essential functions. You can change Yerocle’s language at any time with the IT/EN control.

6. Updates and contact

The list will be updated if the website’s technologies change. For questions about cookies or personal data, contact Unica Cooperativa Sociale, Via Cerrate Casale 38, 73100 Lecce (LE), Italy · VAT no. / P. IVA 04702960750 · Tax code / C.F. 93098480754 at info@yerocle.com.
