1. Provider and acceptance
The service is provided by Unica Cooperativa Sociale, Via Cerrate Casale 38, 73100 Lecce (LE), Italy · VAT no. / P. IVA 04702960750 · Tax code / C.F. 93098480754 (known as “Unica”). Yerocle is the product and platform operated by Unica and is not a separate legal entity.
By selecting the acceptance box and submitting the registration request, the user declares that they have read and accepted the current version of these Terms. Registration remains subject to activation by an administrator and does not create any right to access a specific project.
2. Free testing phase
Access is currently provided free of charge for evaluation, testing and collaborative project-management purposes. No paid plan, minimum availability level or service-level agreement is included at this stage.
Unica may evolve, correct, limit or discontinue experimental features and may introduce paid plans in the future. Where reasonably possible, material changes affecting active users will be communicated in advance; future paid use will require a separate, explicit choice.
3. Accounts and authorised access
- Provide accurate registration information and keep it updated.
- Use personal credentials, keep passwords confidential and do not share accounts.
- Use only projects, partner areas and information for which you are authorised.
- Promptly report suspected access, security or confidentiality incidents to info@yerocle.com.
4. Permitted and prohibited use
Yerocle may be used for lawful professional, institutional, research and project-management activities. Users must comply with applicable law, project rules, confidentiality duties and the rights of other persons.
- Do not upload malware, attempt unauthorised access, bypass security controls or interfere with availability.
- Do not use the service to commit unlawful acts, infringe intellectual-property or personal-data rights, harass, discriminate or disseminate content that is manifestly illegal.
- Do not upload special-category, criminal-offence or other unnecessary personal data unless the responsible organisation has verified a legal basis, permissions and appropriate safeguards.
- Do not copy, reverse engineer, resell or provide the platform to unauthorised third parties except where mandatory law expressly permits it.
5. User data, information and content
The user and the organisation responsible for the relevant project remain responsible for the lawfulness, accuracy, relevance, permissions, retention and use of data, documents, links and any other content entered in Yerocle. They must have the rights and authority needed to upload and share that material with the selected recipients.
Unica does not approve, certify or independently verify user content and, to the extent permitted by law, is not responsible for decisions, communications, submissions or other uses made of that information by users. Unica may carry out technical checks needed for security, assistance and operation of the service.
6. Assisted features and generated content
Document analysis, imports, suggestions, summaries, drafts and other assisted functions are support tools only. They do not provide legal, financial, accounting, procurement or other professional advice and do not replace the checks required by a funding programme, authority or competent professional.
Results may be incomplete, inaccurate or unsuitable for the specific case. The user must review, correct and confirm them before saving, sharing or relying on them. Within the limits allowed by law, Unica is not responsible for the user’s reliance on information or for content generated, modified or published through the platform.
7. External links and third-party content
Links may be entered by users or shown as a convenience. Unica does not control, endorse or guarantee external websites and, to the extent permitted by law, is not responsible for their availability, security, accuracy or legality, or for damage arising from access to them. The person who enters or shares a link remains responsible for checking its destination and authorisation.
This limitation does not exclude mandatory responsibilities. A specific and adequately substantiated report may be sent to info@yerocle.com, identifying the project, link and reason for the alleged illegality. Unica will assess the report and, where legally required and technically possible, act promptly to remove or disable access to the link or related content.
8. Intellectual property
Yerocle, its interface, software, brand and documentation belong to Unica or its licensors. The user receives only a personal, limited, revocable and non-transferable right to use the service during the testing period.
Users retain rights in their own content and grant Unica only the permissions technically necessary to host, process, back up, transmit and display it to authorised recipients in order to provide and protect the service.
9. Availability, changes and suspension
The testing service is provided on an “as available” basis. Maintenance, updates, technical faults, third-party services or security measures may cause interruptions or changes. Unica does not guarantee uninterrupted operation or preservation of experimental features.
Unica may suspend an account or restrict content where reasonably necessary for security, suspected unlawful use, breach of these Terms, orders from authorities or protection of users and projects. Where appropriate, the user will be informed and may provide relevant clarification.
10. Verification and limitation of liability
Users must keep any copies required by their project, grant, audit or legal obligations and must verify exports, deadlines, calculations and documents before official use. Yerocle does not guarantee the achievement of administrative, financial, procurement or project results.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence where applicable. Subject to those mandatory limits, Unica is not liable for indirect loss, loss caused by user content or instructions, unauthorised account use attributable to the user, or external services and links outside its control.
11. Privacy, governing law and changes
Personal data are handled as described in the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. Acceptance of these Terms is contractual and is separate from any optional consent for additional data-processing purposes.
These Terms are governed by Italian law, without prejudice to mandatory protections and jurisdiction rules. Unica may update them as the service evolves; the current version will remain published here and a new acceptance will be requested when a material change requires it. Questions and reports may be sent to info@yerocle.com.
